Agreement
By using Keyfold, provided by Lioncap Ventures (Private) Limited (a Lioncap Ventures product), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account and your keys
You are responsible for keeping your master password and Secret Key safe. Keyfold is zero-knowledge by design: we cannot see, reset, or recover them. If you lose both your master password and your Secret Key, and you have no recovery option set up, your vault cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. We provide an Emergency Kit at signup so you can store your Secret Key safely.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Keyfold to store or share unlawful content, to attempt to breach the security of the service or other users, or to disrupt the service.
Availability
We work to keep Keyfold available and your data safe, but the service is provided on an as-is basis. Because every device keeps an offline encrypted cache, a temporary server outage does not lock you out of your own passwords.
Self-hosting
If you run your own Keyfold deployment, you are responsible for its operation, backups, and security. These terms cover the hosted service we operate.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss arising from your use of Keyfold is limited. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
